National Rowing Champions!

I had a fantastic email this morning from one of my athlete’s at Leeds Rowing Club…

“Hi Rob,

We won the mixed masters double event at the national championships yesterday. It was a good race. We were down a bit of the start but didn’t panic. We drew level with about 500m to go then knew we had the power to row through them. We were ahead with 300m to go then stretched out a decent lead. We were really pleased with our time too of 3:49.9 over 1000m. Last year we got 4:07 although that was into a head wind.

Thanks for all your strength coaching through the months of training, it really paid off.
